I am a long time Sports Clips customer, but my usual store (Okatie) has been closed in order to relocate. Due to the coronavirus situation, I checked the website before visiting to make sure I knew what was expected. I checked in online so I wouldn't have to wait in the store. Upon my arrival, I asked about a mask (the Sports Clips website said that they would be provided) and was told that they don't provide them, and that I could buy one at Big Lots in the same plaza. I let the stylist know that I had checked in and was next in line, then dashed to buy one. I came back less than five minutes later only to find that they had skipped me and taken someone else. No apology, nothing. Both stylists seemed less than thrilled to be there. So-so cut. All around just a bad experience. I can't wait for the Buckwalter store to open and hope that they keep the same crew that they had in Okatie, as every experience I've had at the Bluffton location hasn't been great.

Why have online check-in when you still end up waiting 25 minutes pass your appointed time? My check-in assigned me an 11:50am arrival time. I arrived at 11:45 and was not seated until 12:20. When I complained that a 25 minute wait was not acceptable I wasn't given an apology but rather told that the man before me had a lot of hair to be cut, that another stylist went home, and that the online check-in was not an appointment, but rather a suggested time of arrival. Then why bother? To my stylist's credit she did a good job and offered me a discount for my wait, which I declined. My problem wasn't with her ability and work, but rather a system that wastes the customer's time!

I have stopped at the OKATIE location Monday 08/19/2019 and found a sign on the window " closing at 6:00 today". I arrived at 5:30 and by 6:00 the lady let me know she is closing at 6:00. I checked the web site today and the closing time reads 7:00 so I stop by today only to find another sign on the window " closing at 6:00". LOOKS LIKE I NEED TO FIND ANOTHER PLACE FOR MY FAMILY TO GET A HAIRCUT.
